Meta and Pretty - what else do you need?

Well, how glad am I that I decided to tape WaT this week?

The meta episode to end all meta episodes really. Barry Mashburn, Doris, Kenosha, the Scrabble board, even Sam in her old-school black and I'm sure there were a few other things I didn't pick up on the first viewing. It was very nicely done too.

At first, I thought it was really happening but after the shootings, something was definitely up. In fact, after that wink to Martin, something was definitely up. The Jack's Gone Crazy reason only took me so far. That wink was hilarious though. You know underneath it all Jack really has issues with the whole Martin/Sam thing.

The Jack/Sam scene was almost a little disturbing. Maybe just because of Sam's reaction.

John's words to Susan (?) mirrored Jack's to Sam in LaF, 'I'm sorry if I ever hurt you.' <3

All of them waiting at the car by the end. Aww.

Shallowness: ALP really worked that soccer top. Mmm.

The one thing that did throw me a little was Jack talking face to face with himself, at his age, at the end. That kind of freaked me out and I'm not really sure why.

However, all in all, that was one impressive ep. Hanlk wrote it, so really? What else did I expect?

Apple now have the trailers on their site avaliable to download in iPod playable Quicktime format. This makes me ridiculously happy as now I have the rather wonderful PotC2 teaser on my iPod, so I can watch it anywhere. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley prettiness in my pocket. Oh, yes.

Something else that makes me very happy? Ocean's Eleven. I'd forgotten quite how much. I had a craving for it last night and oh how I love that poker table scene between Danny and Rusty. I love all the Danny and Rusty interaction but especially that scene. So, so much. Danny/Rusty = <3!

However, using this icon just reminded me of Rusty's haircut in O12. *wince* Why Brad, why?
