25 so far? Not too bad.

I had a cool morning tea at work on Friday where I got wishlist books (John Hodgman and Matt Taibi for the win) and my friend freaking made me a soft toy Adipose! It's adorable. And then I got ah, rather randomly drunk on Friday night. (Mmm, cocktails).

Saturday I had some friends over, which was very cool, but the weather was crap and quite a few people were busy and couldn't make it, which was a little disappointing, but I still had a good night.

Mum has also been in town, which has been really nice and included random train trips, good food, and an Indiana Jones viewing.

Overall, I really did like it, once I got over the first half hour and the fact he survived a nuclear explosion in a refrigerator and has no one heard of fallout and radiation sickness? But yeah, I got over that and found the rest enjoyable but insane (aliens, seriously?)

I loved Harrison Ford as an older Indy. <3 He's made some awful movies (Random Hearts, Six Days and Seven Nights *shudders*) but then I watch a movie like this and it all the love comes back.

Marion was awesome, and Indy and her were just so good together. I watched Raiders ages ago and I think I need to see it again.

I haven't actually seen Shia in anything before (I will eventually get to Transformers, I just need to properly steel myself) but I thought he did a pretty good job and I liked Mutt a lot more than I was expecting to.

John Hurt was as awesome as he always is.

Stephen Speilberg had a total obsession going on there with Indy's shadow, huh? But I thought overall he did a nice directing job. I am not surprised that with such a WTF plot George Lucas had story credit. ALIENS.

Also, randomly, this video of Tony and Abby moments from NCIS is just too cute. I love them both and it's almost making me want to track down some episodes again.
