Very lazy weekend. Spent Saturday inside because it was a raining and watched The Bourne Identity (David Strathairn, mmm) and Pride and Prejudice (the Keira version, because it's oh so pretty). Both of which were awesome, although in slightly different ways. ;)

Sunday I wandered to the vege market, was somewhat social and watched Firefly and god, it's been ages since I saw the pilot. So much love. Mal! Wash! Simon! Zoe! Kaylee! Book! It still does make me a little bitter after watching it, because damn, it was so, so good. I can see me going back and rewatching them all in the near future. <3!

Honestly? Eh.

I was admittedly spoiled for the Rose moment, which was well done, so yeah, the ep might have been better had I not been, but overall? I certainly didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either.

I remain unconvinced about Donna. I think she could get a little grating (that might be Catherine Tate's voice), and the 'OMG Doctor' thing got tired, even if it wasn't supposed to be a romantic thing.

Every mention of Martha made me miss her. Though it was good to hear the Doctor express some regret for how he treated her and talk of her fondly.

The plot was okay. I did actually quite like the female villain, I thought the actress did a nice job, and the little fat things were kinda cute. However, the Doctor and Donna thing just missing each other for basically the first third of the ep got old, really fast. I can suspend disbelief, but seriously?

One thing that was awesome? Donna's granddad.

Also, the conversation through the glass was well done.

I hope next week's is better, though I am intrigued about the Rose thing.
