I wear my love for George Clooney unashamedly.
I liked this, maybe a little more than last week, mostly because it was short on the sub-plots I wasn't so interested in (even though we got the twins instead of Hiro and Ando), and heavy on Mohinder, Matt, Molly, Claire, Mr Bennett and Nathan. Also, I am a back-story whore, so that photo of the 12 had me reaching for the pause button and bouncing in my seat.
I didn't post about last week's ep but if I had it would have definitely featured the phrase, 'oh hell no!' in regards to Mr Bennett's (it feels weird calling him Noah) predicted death. I just can't accept that this will happen. It will be the first canon instance of a painting being wrong. *nods*
However, I did like the twist with West being captured by Mr Bennett, even though I'm still not sure how I feel about West in general. There's just something creepy about him, and although I'd love for Claire to have someone, I just can't see this ending well. The Hollywood sign and the falling and catching was also way cheesy.
The Haitian gets his own theme music! Also, the Ukraine?! Huh?
Oh, Nathan. You're so broken, but that long hair really works for you. *cough* What?
All Petrelli's are broken though. As that hug between Nathan and Mama Petrelli showed, I think.
I also found it interesting that Nathan let Matt unload to him. That was not really typical Nathan behaviour. I like the idea of them working together.
Talking of Matt, he broke Molly! Don't know quite how I feel about that scene, even though I've really been liking Matt's storyline a lot more this season. His father? Yeah, that was always coming.
Loved Mohinder's line about Daddy issues. Oh, hell yes, he'd know about them.
Also, Mohinder sings! I almost died of the cute. I like Mohinder normally, but I do see what can make him a rather annoying character, but when he's around Molly, I am mush, and I think he does become a lot less irritating.
Anyway, back story time. That photo was interesting, as was Nathan's lines about people visiting his parent's house. There were quite a few people in that photo we haven't met yet, who I hope tie in somehow. I also think Nana was in the photo, at the end. Totally wouldn't surprise me.
Twins ... yeah, sorry, still boring. A little less so now that Sylar (Gabriel?) is their travelling companion, but only marginally so. However, I will say that the thought of Sylar with Maya's power is as freaky as hell.
I do also find it interesting how far Papa Suresh's book has spread. I mean, dude, it seems to be everywhere.
I quite liked Monica. She had a cool power and was interesting and I look forward to seeing her more.
However, is Nana supposed to be Micah's grandmother? Because haven't we already met D.L's mother early on in Season 1? Didn't Nikki take Micah to stay with her? Or is this not D.L's mother?
No, Hiro and Ando, which did make me sad, but I can't say I really missed Peter, as his Irish storyline is not really doing anything for me at the moment. Don't hate it, but just don't really care, and I really hope they relate it to something.
