owlbeerThe Internet was good to me yesterday:
1. I got my (metaphorical) hands on the latest ep of House
A Wilson-heavy ep is always a good thing and RSL rocked but I did find it rather amusing that he was lecturing House about affairs and House said nothing. However, the scene with Wilson and the pot? Fantastic. 'I know you're in there, I can hear you caring.' :D!
OTP! I loved how worried Wilson was, 'you can't toy with him.' Aw. His tone of voice when saying that was just wonderful. And he was the one who picked up the pieces. Also, while I'm a sucker for rooftop conversations, something left me feeling a little weird about the end scene and I can't quite put my finger on what and I don't think it was just the horrible 'sunset' backdrop.
'Cameron, I love you.' I knew it was coming but oh was it hilarious. Cameron was actually pretty cool in this ep. Not really that annoying at all.
Foreman, I love you. I may have missed his 'annoying' eps but I loved him in this. His snark and the way Omar Epps plays him. It's wonderful.
Cuddy rocked, as she always does.
Chase? I believe there is a character called Chase? House's call about not getting to say goodbye to his father and 'tell the class how it feels' was pretty harsh though. However, it was very House.
I know everyone's celebrating that the House/Stacy storyline is over and well, I am too because boy did it drag on too long, but I still didn't really mind it in this ep. Stacy has never really annoyed me (and yeah, I've missed a couple of eps) and I do kind of like how it was concluded.
And I believe this show actually has medical cases? *cough* I quite liked the one in this ep actually. It was well done and interesting. However, as cute as House and the Stella scene was, it did seem rkind of tacked on to me. Like they didn't really need it. Or I am I just forgetting something?
2. I found a really interesting thread about the Logan/Veronica relationship in S2.
3. I finally found out where the L/V arm touch was and got a clip of it. (Ruskie Business, for the curious).

nighfall_icons/nordmaedchen. Which I decided I needed at 1:30 this morning. *facepalm*
5. Did I mention that my brain is still hijakced by Logan and Veronica, and occasionally Weevil?
6. Scans from the latest Nightwing. Comics, I do still love you really, I just really can't afford to buy you right now. I miss you.
Dick/Babs! <3 I'm not really big on proposal scenes in comics/TV but I did 'aww' and even though I have a few little reservations about the art, that last panel is gorgeous.
However, can we say doomed? There is no way this is going to play out well. No way. This is DC and even worse, they are members of the Bat!Family. One of them, or god forbid both of them, are just so doomed. *whimpers* They are my two favourite DCU characters. *hides eyes, lives in Denial*
Random Television Thoughts:
1. I watched the pilot of Commander-in-Chief and ... eh. It was okay. Not too bad in places. I'll keep watching, if only for the fact that I'm a politics junkie. I think any US politics show is going to suffer with me as I'll always compare it to TWW, which is unfair, but that's the way it is.
2. Also, Wednesday brought NZ the start of Lost S2.
Oh, it just had to be a Jack flashback ep, didn't it? Not that I really dislike Jack, but at the same time, I don't really care that much either. I know that the patient was supposed the be the woman he married but I actually had to wonder for a bit if she'd been re-cast. I'm not sure why.
However, I will say that the flashbacks and the island storyline tied very nicely together, which was cool. I appreciate nice pacing and structure.
I am intrigued by Desmond though and I loved how they started the ep. I'm secretly like the theory that he's popped up in all their lives, but I think that's just me crazily theorising.
Hurley continues to rock.
I strangely liked Shannon quite a bit in this ep too. 'The only thing that someone's ever asked me to do is look after that dog.' Oh, honey.
Really, I spent this whole ep wanting to know about the raft. Yes, the island people were intriguing but, the raft! Sawyer! Michael! Luckily we see that next week.
I didn't love the ep but I was mostly entertained and intrigued. Damn you, J.J.
3. While documenting what was actually on the video tapes we have piled next to our tv (so I can decide which ones I'm stealing away with me) I found the ones that had 'Bad Wolf' and 'A Parting of Ways' on them. Both of them (but APoW especially) get better every time I see them. Just, awesome. Jack/Rose/Doctor! <3

1. Packing. Goodbyes. Procrastinating from packing. Freaking out. Self doubt. Frustration.

My first reaction was 'hell, yes' because I love Pircard but if then I noticed the second place getter, which was technically a tie. Meep. I assume that's because I stayed in the middle a little too often. It's a little amusing actually. Also, 'decisive mind'? Me? *laughs so hard she falls down and can't get up*
It''s quite a comprehensive little test.
2. I really want to do the 'seven songs' meme before I go. I've been meaning to share some songs for ages.
Edit: I just completely forgot how to spell Wednesday. As in, I had to look in a dictionary. Yeah, today's going to be a good brain day.
