owlbeerI worked an 11.5 hour shift for the second time this week. I have to be at work at 6am again tomrrow. *headddesk ... falls asleep on keyboard*
I need another job.
That's not the only reason and definitely not the most important one, but still.

However, after that shift I came home, opened a beer and watched the following in succession. (Mostly. I found a taped ep of Band of Brothers on the tape that had DW on it and gah, I love BoB).
Anyway, these eps? So. Good.
Doctor/Rose/Jack = OT3. Dude. I loved their interactions all the way through this. The Doctor and Jack flirting and just the way they played off each other. It was so well done.
I did feel for Mickey though. It can’t have been easy and he obviously really loved Rose.
All in all, I loved the ep. You got to see more and more inside the Doctor’s head and the way he just shrugged off ‘Bad Wolf’ when it obviously meant something. Gah. I really want to know so much about him.
Jack. I doubted your charms at first, but yeah, you’re pretty damn awesome.
Next week’s promo: WTF? Looks intriguing. Very intriguing.
This ep had it all ‘ship wise. Veronica/Weevil, Veronica/Duncan, Veronica/Logan, Logan/Weevil, Logan/Duncan … so much interaction and it rocked.
Logan: I doubted his appeal at first, but now, I kinda see it. There’s far more to him that meets the eye and for some reason it just never occurred to me (even though I have seen the flashbacks) that he was *different * before Lily died and that’s he’s noticeably changed. I mean, it’s obviously a life-changing event but I just kind of assumed he’d always been a bit of an ass, and perhaps he always has, just not quite to the same extent as he is now. I’m very intrigued.
In fact, everyone intrigues me. I loved the ending too. I totally didn’t see the Aaron stabbing coming and contrasting it with the carols was great. Also, Keith seeing Veronica talking to Jake. Ooh. And it totally doesn’t surprise me if Celeste was behind it. That fact that it was Sean wasn’t particularly surprising but really, that was the least important point of the entire ep really.
Logan and Duncan wearing the same boxers … * dies * Their forgiveness scene was also very cool.
Still loving the Veronica and Weevil interaction. I could quite easily see me multi-shipping when it comes to this show because I did love the Veronica and Logan scene as well. Also, I can totally see Logan/Weevil and I quite like it.
Veronica, well, so much love. It was thinking the other day about shows I like and if my favourite characters fit a certain type and for some reason I always ended up putting Veronica in with Buffy and Sydney from Alias, who are all my favourite characters on their respective shows. I don’t know what that says, but I felt like mentioning it. Anyway, love Veronica.
This may be the ep that has turned my ‘enjoying it a lot’ into ‘OMG!’ but we’ll see. I’m definitely intrigued though and I can’t wait till next week. I would really kill to see some more flashbacks, because I really want to know what it was like before all this happened.
But for the fear of spoilers, I would totally start looking for fic now.
Also, if I had a faster connection and some hard-drive space I would start looking for some DLs.
Unless there’s some tiny ep files running around …

Also, I'm a horrible Political Science graduate. The General Election is tomorrow, and I haven't decided who I'm voting for yet. I mean, it's a choice between two because the thought of Don Brash or god forbid Winston Peters or Rodney Hyde as Prime Minister of this country is just frightening, but still, I need to make a choice. Better get on that.
