owlbeerIt was such a lazy weekend. I saw Prometheus (pretty, well-acted but eh) and then .. watched all of the Suits episodes. The Tumblr gifs got to me.
It was better than I was expecting tbh. Perhaps helped along by the fact that I was marathon-ing it, but there were a lot of feelings by the end. I thought it wavered a little around 1x08-1x10 but the finale was pretty strong, as was the season 2 opening. Wondered about who the Hardman in Pearson Hardman was - and glad they've let us know. Interested to see where this all goes. Hi, editor from S5 of The Wire! (And um, he was Doug from Flight of the Conchords? Seriously? Thanks for that bit of knowledge, Wikipedia).
Harvey and Mike - OMG! Just, what? Especially after 2x01. Harvey loves him so much! Or at the very least cares about him a hell of a lot. All the feelings.
Harvey is totally my favourite ... shocking absolutely no one. Smug, arrogant assholes who are amazing at their jobs and have lots of secret feelings are apparently my type right now. Also, Gabriel Macht, your face is pretty awesome ngl. As are your suits. (Three-piece suits are awesome, Mike. STFU).
Jessica is amazing. Gina Torres is made of awesome and she was epic in 2x01. I liked how they resolved (well for now) her knowing about Mike as well, and expanded on her history with Harvey late in S1.
Donna is awesome, and I'd love to see more of her and her (platonic, please only platonic) relationship with Harvey or pretty much anyone exactly.
I'd seen some vague complaints about Rachel but uh ... don't quite get that. I mean she suffered from some weak writing at the end of the series when she was basically just (one of) Mike's love interests, but other than that I quite liked her and Meghan Markle was pretty good - she was a lot more annoying on Fringe at the start of S2.
I didn't mean to put Mike way down here, but I do like him a lot.
So um yeah, I have a show for the US Summer. Yay.

I was kinda spoiled for it as I went too far back on my Tumblr dashboard and saw about Lin, but in the end it wasn't quite that bad. But OMG Lin! I was pretty close to tears. She is so, so awesome. <3!
It wasn't quite that bad because OMG last thirty seconds! I wondered who would be in charge of the United Forces and oh look it's General Iroh II. Grandson I'm going to guess because Zuko is nearly 80 according to the Avatar Wiki (please?just one scene? or a few mentions?) Very interested to see where that goes.
Little ass-kicking Airbenders! Those kids are so great.
I felt for Asami because I don't think that ends well for her ... but uh Iroh the Younger looks kinda cute, y?
I also bought myself the tie-in Avatar comics tonight because I had a book voucher to reduce the price, the wiki made me curious, and ... Zuko. And all the rest of their ridiculous faces.

Songs I considered making a hockey fanvid to while sitting at my desk today trying to understand InDesign:
... this says interesting things about my musical taste but whatever.
Why do I talk about these things? Totally not going to happen. I lack the attention span. I'm also wary of blatantly 'shippy RPS vids and the internet. (Subtle ones ... to be honest, with Carts and Ritchie, I haven't seen a Kings-related montage yet that hasn't alluded to their BFF-ness).
