Hmm. I liked last week's better but I still enjoyed this quite a lot.

I thought the main plot was a little shaky in places. Like ... why did he carry it into the tunnel? He was in a trance? *shrugs* It felt a little clunky to me, but I totally called it being just to get it into Peter's hands. Interesting. I liked the focus on the machine.

I didn't mind Peter's cluelessness about Alt!Olivia in this ep because I thought they did a good job of showing that he had *a lot* of stuff on his mind and that what he really needed was Olivia to talk to (and drink with, but did he notice she was just watching him drink?) and her excuse while not exactly amazing was certainly plausible. Going to another universe and meeting another you is bound to change your perspective on some level.

Did love the dancing. Josh Jackson, that grin is a motherfucking weapon. Guh.

FOX totally played with the promo with the couch scene because Alt!Olivia and Peter's exchange about stopping was not in the final ep. It also looked hotter in the promo ... damn you FOX.

"He can't have known how bad it would be ... " interesting line to give Alt!Olivia. Indication that she will start to see the other side.

Oh, Walter. He was heart-breaking in this, especially in the scene with Peter. I can't say I really blame Peter though. Give it time, I guess. He will come around. The face touch near the end was interesting though. Another example of Peter's touch?

Exploding head! Welcome back Fringe gross-out moments. I don't know if I've missed you or not to be honest.

Of course Alt!Olivia doesn't mind not going to make out with you more she's got a body she needs to get out of her apartment. ;) That head-shot should have made more mess though.

Have to say I am enjoying Alt!Olivia and Anna's performance. But Bono? Honey, no.

Loved Walter going to Astrid first. I love their relationship. Sadly I was spoiled for the reveal, which I really wish I wasn't. Must be more vigilant on the spoiler front. Will be interesting to see where that particular plot-thread goes.

Also Walter the opera singer was awesome.

The one thing I think might be confusing about this back-and-forth is when these episodes on this side are happening vs the other episodes in the other universe. I took this ep as happening before 3x01, certainly before the last scene anyway at the court-house or whatever. This could get a little confusing, or I could be over-thinking it, both are possible. ;)

Superficially: Hi Newton. Damn. Also, Josh in a bomb squad jacket. Nice. Very nice.

Next week's sneak peak and promo looked waay interesting.

I couldn't help but look at the ratings, and yeah, I wish I hadn't. *sigh* I admit I don't know the ins and outs and the machinations of network TV but FOX's faith is going to have to go a long way, or they need to move it. Though you could argue that might make it worse if it doesn't improve up against less strong competition.

I'm thinking of entering a state of denial, sticking my fingers in my ears and not paying attention to them. It's depressing. This show is too good for that.

ETA: It's DVR ratings are apparently pretty good though. So ... that's something.

I must admit my attention wandered majorly in the middle of this, but the start and end were very good. Kickass!Alicia (I nearly typed Olivia, damn you Fringe) at the end standing up to judge! Loved it.

Also, Eli and Jackie were awesome in their plotting. So awesome. Was pissed off Eli deleted that voice-mail though, but it's perfectly in character.

I liked the new partner, and the little moment where it was implied he might get in between Will and Diane.

Also that Alicia and Peter scene at the end did no go where I was expecting. Nice.

However, I did find this on the CBS merchandise website. Team Gardner and Team Florrick t-shirts? Really, CBS?! And they even look vaguely Twilight-y. *headdesk* Also um, who exactly is on Peter's side ...

10 episodes of Community down and I'm still loving it. (Following this and Fringe might be a problem come the end of the year. Community's ratings aren't any better).

On the job front, I have a job! For a month! It's something anyway. Admin-y stuff in Westminster (which is a pretty cool location, 5 minutes from the House of Parliament), and with the possibility that it might go longer. So that's at least something. ;)

Random link of cute: Panda cupcakes! Amazing.

Rahm left as White House Chief of Staff today. :( But they got him a dead fish! Brilliant.

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon do an awesome rap montage. I have been experiencing a growing level of respect for Justin Timberlake. It's interesting.
