owlbeerDude. I wondered if time had gone really fast there for a second, but I realised my computer clock adjusted for Daylight Savings which we just entered. Yay one less hour sleep, but it does mean lighter nights, so that's something.
(Edits out the quite insane overuse of 'just' in that sentence).
This was my first ep for a while as the flist reviews of the last few eps have seen a little mixed and I didn't bother to grab them, but I was pretty enthusiastic about this one with Daniel and it being a Gero ep.
I liked bits of it a lot, but overall I thought it was kinda all over the place and was trying to do just a little too much.
Daneil! Hi! Michael Shanks is really looking kinda pretty.
I liked Daniel's interaction with Rodney a lot. It had some funny moments, some bonding moments and some cool little insight moments and wow, I forgot how fast Daniel talked. Dude.
"Could have been in Mensa." Oh, John, just ignore them. I do wonder if him telling Radek to dumb the math down so he could be explained it was a reaction to that though.
"Don't blow the place up when I'm gone." "No promises." Heh.
And John really didn't want to be left in charge, did he? Oh, the adorable JFlan faces.
The suit guys really remind me of the Sontarans from the recent season of Dr Who, and it kept throwing me out a little, and I wasn't the hugest fan of those eps, so I wonder if that played a role in me not loving the ep.
Chuck reading the book with his feet up was a really nice moment. What was he reading? And then John asleep with a book on his chest. Love.
