Love and Monsters:

Hardly any Rose and Doctor but I did like the quirkynes of it. I thought Mark Warren (who is really Danny from 'Hustle' to me) did a pretty good job and all in all, I enjoyed it quite a lot. The eps really are so much better when Russell T Davies writes them. Not that the rest of writers are bad by any stretch of the imagination but Davies has something and it's quirky and it works so well.

Fear Her:

I missed this ep completely as I was out for dinner. I haven't chased down any reviews but I remember hearing vaguely good things. For those who have seen it, did I miss a good ep?

Army of Ghosts:

Really loved it.

The reveal with Mickey worked so well. I was so glad I was spoiler free and there was a loud 'cliunk' in my head as everything fell into place with the two worlds crossing over. The Cybermen two-parter really did serve a purpose then. Very nicely done.

I was a bit disappointed that it was the Daleks again, but I suppose they are the Doctor's nemesis and all, and I did really grow to love them in the next part.

The specifics kind of escape me in light of this week's ep, but I know I really did enjoy it. :)

Doomsday:

OMG Daleks and Cybermen trading what amounted to traditional action movie dialogue! Paraphrased: 'We are five million, how many are you?' 'We are four.' '...' 'But even if we were one, we would exterminate you.' I laughed so hard. It was awesome. The Daleks totally grew on me in this ep.

I even felt for Jacqui in this ep. Usually, I like her, but only in very small doses, but here. Oh, honey.

The Doctor and Rose all smily and bouncy when they figured out how to save the world was totally adorable! And he tried to send her home, but she didn't let him!

And then the wall scene. Oh god the wall scene. Much with the tears.

So, so, so happy that they got a proper goodbye scene at the end. I was thinking when Rose let go and Pete rescued her that the Doctor was going to go on thinking she'd died or something and oh, oh, that would have sucked, but he didn't and he found her and ... oh god, I cried. I cried a lot. And of course he got cut off before he could say it back! But he really was going to! And he was crying! Crying! And Bad Wolf Bay! Awesome.

Anyway, yeah, I liked it. ;) There were some plot-holes but I could look past them. It totally worked on an emotional level and the season really did tie together so nicely.

As for the ending ... interesting, and amusing. I will probably watch next season because I do love David Tennant, but hell, I will miss Rose.

I'm kinda surprised this ep review has so many exclamation points in it. I knew I liked it, but I didn't think quite that much. ;)

Also incidentally, David Tennant should grin. All. The. Time. *squishes him* Billie was awesome too actually.
