So, my day's been pretty good, work was pretty interesting and I finally bought my Mum a Mother's Day gift but my day got exponentially better when I came home and opened LJ. <3
VMars first:
It seems there's quite a mixed reaction out there, I've seen people call it the best ep ever and people say they really disliked it, but I've been totally caught up in all the squee. So, I shall squee.
Beaver?! OMGWTF?! I've always liked him and thought that he and Mac would be cute, so I'm a little bit gutted and really feeling for Mac but I haven't seen it all play out (anytime now TV2, anytime), but it's very interesting. And he did rape Veronica? Fuck that girl had one bad, bad night.
Duncan got Clarence to kill Aaron? Damn, that's awesome. In fact, that might be the most awesome thing Duncan's ever done. However, part of me would have still liked to have seen his character tarnished a little, or at least seen him live up to his potential.
Edit: Someone mentioned over in the TWoP ep thread that this act turned Duncan into a true Kane and I suppose it kind of did really. It's interesting. This in fact might be the most interested I've ever been in Duncan's character.
Now, on to important *cough* things. As soon as I read on spoilerfix that Veronica was rescued by someone other than Keith I was hoping it was Logan and hell, yes! The scene sounds amazing and I'm sure KB and JD did it justice. Logan as the voice of reason is very interesting but then not thinking of a reason for Beaver to jump was a nice reference back to where Logan ended last season. It sounds like my Logan love won't be dying anytime soon, does it? ;)
As for them being back together ... I do share the concerns of some people that getting them together at the end of this season means that by the start of S3 (please, please) they're going to hate each other again, and that cheats the audience *again* out of seeing them in an actual relationship instead of just snarking at each other, however I must admit that part of me is just really happy that there weere some V/L scenes with a relatively happy ending.
All of this, and I haven't even seen the damn ep.

If the S2 DVDs are released in August and it still isn't on NZ TV by then, I'm waltzing over to Amazon. I have no patience and great love for this show.
The West Wing:
There was a Toby/CJ scene in the last episode?! There was a Toby/CJ scene that nearly made them canon?!
FUCK. YES.
Now if only there was a 'shipper clip site for them. *sighs*
And while I'm talking TV, some thoughts about some eps I've actually seen.
Maybe my viewing was a little disjointed but I think I enjoyed last week's better. However, saying that, Greg Grunberg was excellent and it was quite an interesting plot. The Wilson scenes seemed a little ... rushed. I would have liked to have seen more of him (yes, I know, shocker) but the end scene was pretty awesome. However, wasn't Wilson on the transplant committee? Still loving it though. Hugh Laurie rocks my world.
I have a sort of mixed reaction because I adored Bailey and Cristina. That scene on the plane, just wow. Chandra Wlson and Sandra Oh, you fucking rock. Also Burke and George (D&D geek!) and his scenes with Bex were awesome but everyone else was just bleh, even Izzy. *sighs* However, Addison's scene with Bex's parents when she told them she wouldn't perform the surgery without Bex knowing was pretty damn cool as well.
And what sort of title is that?
