I started my new job today. Meep. It actually wasn't too bad, just building tours and id and swipe card procurement and a little bit of 'actual' work. The people seem nice and overall, I really liked it, and I can wear jeans! (If they're tidy, which may be a classification that not entirely fits the best pair I own).
The present I'm buying myself out of my first pay? Veronica Mars Season 1. I've beennot very patient waiting for it to come out on Region 4 and just, eh. I give up. Amazon here I come. <3

I liked this ep a lot, but it was a little weird in places in terms of my reactions to the characters.
McDreamy was really annoying me for the first time. He redeemed himself a very little bit with the carols and I really liked that little scene at the end between him and Addison until he did the whole, 'the holidays makes you want to be with people you love' and my jaw dropped. That was harsh and I don't think Addison deserved it. She's definitely growing on me and my previous almost positive feelings towards Meredith/McDreamy are starting to wane.
Izzy was annoying me a little too, but just in regards to Alex really. Alex was fine in this ep but I'm really not a big fan of their 'ship. However,'Beacuse it's what Jesus would freaking do!' *dies* That was a great line.
Even George was annoying me a little. That? Is really freaking weird, but I was back to loving him by the end of the episode with his rant. I was so, so glad he did that.
However, maybe the weirdest thing, I actually liked most of Meredith's little rant to Izzy down the corridor. Meredith didn't really annoy me at all, excpept maybe near the end. Hey, it wasn't going to be perfect, nobody's that lucky.
One thing that wasn't weird; Bailey and Cristina continued to rock my world. <3!
Overall, still loving this show. It's just ... entertaining. I don't take it too seriously and just enjoy the dialogue and the conflict and the oftentimes very awesome characters.

Three random thoughts:
- Pods are quite possibly the most addictive thing ever.
- I really dislike the term 'flip-flop.' After all the shit that went down with John Kerry in the last US election, I think it was totally overused and when I saw it mentioned in an article about David Cameron before, I cringed. It may also be the fault of Outfoxed, as I remember they did a whole montage with it and I probably closely associate it with FOX News as a result, which is never a good thing.
- As soon as I get my computer issues sorted, I need to upload some Thea Gilmore. I need to share the love.
