owlbeerI bought the BSG mini-series on DVD today. I still love it, but it’s not quite as good as the series has turned out to be. Still, much love. I still don't really get the Helo love though.
Also, I watched the small documentary that came with it and developed rather large crushes on Jamie Bamber (eee, the British accent! So cute!) and Katee Sackhoff.

Hugh! Hell, yes. Nice job. Didn’t see any of his speech on the news because I was watching TV1 and they’d never put on a speech by someone on a TV3 show, but when I read the news story I did a rather ungraceful dance in my chair and walked around the house with a grin on my face for a while.
ETA: I love the Internet! I’ve seen it and it was amusing and charming, and just, wonderful. Love. Also, Stephen Fry! That could not have rocked more.
Also, I haven’t seen them in their respective roles, but I’m happy that George Clooney and Felicity Huffman won awards.
Also, yay for Sandra Oh!
Then I spent just far too much time looking the GG pics on the Yahoo Slideshow.
Looked Good: Felicity Huffman, Jessica Alba, Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron, Zhang Ziyi, George Clooney, Renee Zellweger, Hilary Swank.
Looks that Gave Me Pause: Marcia Cross, Cynthia Nixon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Adrien Brody, Mary Kate Olsen (only in after-party shots I think, but the eye-make up is just, ouch). Pamela Anderson (a given perhaps, but if you see it, just, yeah. Insane, and not in the way you’d think).
Scarlett Johansson’s dress looked okay the first time I saw it, but then every other time I saw it, it just got worse and worse. I also found it amusing that her pictures had easily the most votes as far as Yahoo’s user recommendations go. If you seem some of the shots, it’s not that surprising. Has she always had such large … assets?
Also, I’m such a sucker for completely black suits. Harry Hamlin you are not allowed to look attractive to me! Pierce Brosnan, you can go right ahead.

1. Toby and CJ in 'Someone's Going To Emergency, Someone's Going to Jail' - 'You want to make out with me right now, dont you?' 'Well, when don't I?' *adores*
2. House and Wilson - closing montage of 'Damned If You Do' - because oh god, so slashy and it makes me so happy.
3. Jack and Sam in 'Pilot' (Without A Trace) - I don't know what it is about the collar scene, but it remains my absolute favourite scene between Jack and Sam.
4. Dan and Casey (Sportsnight) - I'm going to say the hug in 'April is the Creulest Month' but it could be so many things.
5. Veronica and Logan - 'Weapons of Class Destruction'
Honourable Mention: Josh and Donna - '17 People' - 'I wouldn't stop for red lights'
