I spent more of my shift today being hugged and saying goodbye to people than actually working, I think. *sniff* I wasn't quite as choked up as I was on Tuesday for some reason but still, it was sad. Catching up with people turned out to be far easier than I had imagined and the goodbyes went well, all things considered. Still. *sighs* I'll miss them. It's been a pretty good five years.

I am now hopelessly spoiled for S2 of Veronica Mars and I'm happy with that. I might have some thoughts later but really, I haven't actually seen anything, so I might just hold back. I believe I became even more of a Logan fangirl in the process. Not that I'm complaining. ;)
And although Veronica Mars fandom does scare me a little (the acronyms and abbreviations alone - LoVe o.O), I must admit I am a total Logan/Veronica 'shipper, with some dabbles elsewhere.

Full List of nominees here.
Wow. It's George Clooney's year and I can't complain, because I've always liked him. ;) I can't wait to see 'Good Night and Good Luck' and 'Syriana' when they finally get here. But seriously, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor - Drama and his film got nominated for Best Film - Drama. Go, George. Nice.
However, the whole list left me with a little bit of a 'WTF?' reaction. Because there are some odd things in here. Odd to me annyway.
Best Film - Drama: Bit suprisied to see 'A Costant Gardener' there. It was a good flim absolutely, but nomination worthy? I don't know. I haven't seen the rest but like I said above, I really want to see 'Good Night and Good Luck' and 'Brokeback Mountain.'
Best Actor - Drama: Russell Crowe? Again? *sighs*
Best Film - Comedy: Bit surprised to see 'Pride and Prejudice' nominated. I liked it, but again nomination worthy? I don't know.
Best Actress - Comedy: I love Keira. I've had a crush on her since 'Bend It Like Beckham' and she was very good in P&P, but I was very surprised to see here there. Sarah Jessica Parker? *sighs*
Best Actor - Comedy: I love Johnny Depp but I think he's there more because he's Johnny Fucking Depp more than anything else.
Best Foreign Film: Go, Joyeux Noel!
Supporting Actress - Drama: I'm happy to see Rachel Weisz there.
Best Director: That is some category. Interesting to see PJ and Stephen Speilberg there when their films are mentioned nowhere else.
Best Drama: Odd. Very odd. I know peple complain about the same shows being in it every year but this is just a little too out there. Maybe I'm just bitter House isn't there. That is possible.
Best Actress Drama: I have seen none of these actresses in these roles. Glen Close was good in The West Wing?
Best Actor Drama: Hugh! Patrick Dempsey's nom is interesting. I love the show and he's certainly good but I wouldn't have thought he'd be up there.
Best Comedy: I've seen half a season of Desperate Housewives and that's it, so I really can't comment. It'll probably win though.
Best Actress Comedy: Felicity should win, just because she rocks.
Best Actor Comedy: Oh c'mon, Zach Braff has to stand a pretty good chance here.
I really hate how the Globes do Supporting Actor and Actress for TV. Lumping everyone together like that does no one any favours.
