Mmm, good television; it makes me happy.

I don't really have that much to say other than, OMG! So good! *ahem*

Interspersing the episode with all of thier talks to the Councellor was a very nice touch. I felt for all of them and that even includes Duncan, who I've been kind of luke-warm about and with Veronica listening in, she knows quite a lot now. I'm curious to see how/if that will change the way she deals with them.

Logan: Oh, honey. His life sucks, but then, that's not too unusual for characters on this show really. His family situation is just, ouch, you can't help but feel for him and oh look, it possibly just got worse. Also, he has a sister? Or really, knowing Aaron, half-sister?

Jason Dohring really works that pout.

Every minute Weevil spends on screen remains fantastic.

I also really liked the slightly more extended look at Veronica and Wallace's friendship (I almost forgot his name *headdesk*) in comparison to some recent episodes. Their interaction is wonderful and I just loved the conversation about the 'head cheerleader' and Wallace's repsonse to how he would get a Fake ID. :D

Adored Veronica's singing. Kristen Bell and Veronica in general are almost too awesome for words.

So, yeah, I liked it. ;)

The sand ... gah. The Doctor's reaction to that was very well done.

I loved the atmosphere that the episode created with Jack leading the few of them with guns. I really was sold on the 'last stand' angle.

The ending definitely didn't go down like I expected with Rose saving the world and the Doctor then having to save her but that was definitely a plus point.

Rose in her own time was so sad because you could really feel how displaced she felt there. Billie Piper, I may have doubted you at the start, but you're really not half bad.

Mickey broke my heart a little, because he really just wanted to see her happy, even if he really wanted her to stay there.

I loved that Rose got the chance to tell her Mum about the girl who held her Dad's hand.

So glad they bought Jack back because I didn't quite believe it when they killed him in the first place. However he is very stranded, but then Jack is a resourceful guy.

I didn't cry as much as I thought I would, but I definitely came close. Gah. They remained as cute as ever right to the end.

Jack/Rose/Doctor = OT3! Their interaction may have possibly been the high point of this series for me. Not that I don't love Rose/Doctor, because I do, but there's something about the three of them together which makes me so happy.

All in all, I loved this series. It wasn't perfect. I think they went back to Rose's time a few too many times and there were some storylines that didn't need two-part or follow-up eps, but that's a small quibble.

When you see this in your LJ quote 'Firefly'

From my favourite ep 'Objects in Space'.

Well, my sister's a ship, we had a

Those lines are just all about Sean Maher's deadpan delivery. It's delicious.
