Wherein I abuse the word awesome, but in service of John Oliver, Jon Stewart and SGA fandom

I know I've linked to them before, but John Oliver and Andy Zaltman's "The Bugle" podcasts are made of many, many different kinds of awesome. I was listening to them at work today (while working, really) and I have not consistently laughed at something so hard in ages. <3!

Also, I just watched last night's Daily Show on the site, and John Oliver's Fox 'documentary' was really sort of wonderful. In a ripping-FOX-to-shreds kinda way ;) And the interview was really interesting too.

Also, while I am overusing the word awesome in a post. SGA fandom = most awesome fandom ever, for many reasons.

I was reminded of this post by mona1347 I memoried a while back (read: two years), which draws hilarious comparisons between fandoms and the hard drugs they represent. SGA is totally acid.

I seem to post more when happy or amused

I woke up in a good mood this morning and nothing seems to be able to shake it. I'm not complaining, but I find it entertaining.

I mean, it turns out that I lost my wallet last night. And I? Am feeling very zen about the whole thing. This is not normal. I visited the places I was last night (not there), went to the police station and now I am sitting here in a park trying to get some of my lgbtfest fic done (I have words! Not good ones, but words are a step in the right direction). It could conceivably still be in my room, but I did pull it apart earlier.

Seriously. Not normal. I usually beat myself up about this. And other things that normally piss me off are just making me laugh right now.

Also met my friend for a 'venting' coffee (more her than me, but I did some as well) earlier and it was awesome. *hearts friends*

I should head home, as I am hungry and have no money but thankfully have enough food in my cupboards to get me through the weekend.

ETA: Okay. It was under my pillow. *cracks up* That's the kind of day it's been.
