Cleaning out your bookmarks: the ultimate in distraction technology

I've been meaning to clean out my bookmarks forever, because a) they're all over the place, b) my fannish interests have changed and c) some of them are totally broken links, and tonight I finally got around to it, after admittedly fooling around on YouTube for a couple of hours, but that's by the by.

This process has led to the following three reactions:

1. Why the hell did I bookmark that?!
2. Broken link. Argh.

And the one that was by the far the most prevalent.

3. Ooooh. Shiny. *is distracted*
