I just worked eight days straight. I don't recommend it.

However, tomorrow I'm going on a road trip with three friends to Dunedin! It's not exactly an exotic (or indeed warm) destination but I'm quite excited about it and I need to get out of Christchurch for a couple of days. Especially because, to cut a long story short, I applied for a job online last weekend. A job that is based in Wellington. I was absolutely expecting a polite e-mail telling me they weren't interested but 'good luck for the future', but I just got an e-mail back reminding me that the position is in Wellington, and if I was aware of that, when I was planning on moving up there!? I mean, it's obviously nothing concrete, but it indicates interest and that's scaring me a little. Happily it's the weekend and I have some time to think over my reply.

*pushes it out of her mind, moves on to the fannish*
