I wanted to type this out. I had a bit to say. So glad it's back. : D

Damn that was tense. I was spoiled for it but I'd read the spoilers such a long time ago that I'd pretty much forgotten most of them. They really manged to keep the tense atmosphere going too, it didn't really lag or anything. That's one thing this show really manages to do. God, 205 was just fantastic tv for exactly that reason. In the ad breaks I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it to come back on.

I liked the sub plot with the government investigation and how if it wasn't for that they might not have been helping Tom at all. Yeah, they wanted him to be innocent but would have they been as helpful hadn't the invesigation happened? Don't think so. Like Harry said, 'it's not all about you.' I thought the conspiracy wanting to effectively establish a propoganda ministry was a maybe a little over the top but then it was a conspiracy. Some people might indeed think like that. Freaky thought.

Tom. *sniffs* The last two seasons were really just about screwing you over, weren't they? And look how well it's worked. Poor boy.

However, I could not believe that he told Christine the truth about where they were picking up Carmen Joyce. As soon as he said it I said to Dad, 'he's totally lying, he's not that stupid.' *minutes pass* 'Okay, he's totally that stupid.' Must be love and why would he have thought she had a wire. However, he's been paid to be paranoid for ages, why stop now when it's his life on the line? Love?

I did feel sorry for Christine though, she was put in a very difficult position. In the end, this has ruined her too. However, whe she said, 'I love you too,' why was their need for his whole name. Yes, the small things bug me.

Anyway, I liked the Tom/Chrstine and I can sum it up because it is over. Once Tom leaves, I'm pretty sure he'll go back to Ellie, not to Christine and I'm fine with that. It was fucked up and angsty but there was love there, or a type of love at any rate. In the end however, they were what the other needed at the time (I just got Sam speaking that in my head :p) even if it did end up badly.

Tim McInnerny's character (Oliver Mace) kicked quite a lot of ass. He was eeevil, but Tim played him really well. I thought him hitting Christine was a little too much, but then this ep had its shocking moments. (Killing Joyce, hitting Christine, effectively pushing Carmen Joyce into suicide. They did them well.) I had a brief 'it's Percy!' moment though. Ah, Blackadder. I really hope he's a reoccuring character but I can't remember reading anything to that effect. Mmm, good British actors. Such a weakness of mine.

Adam: I'm liking Adam quite a lot. The bit in the room with Carmen Joyce was well done, showing that he's as good as Tom, and that they're on the same wavelength in someways but not in others. That was also communicated in the end. Although after Tom's 'I'm fine with it' (paraphrased) Dad and I were both, 'uh-uh, sweetheart' Well okay, the sweetheart bit was just me. :p

Harry and Ruth: ' ... should have I asked to do that? ' ' ... no, initiative, well done.' :D Much love for both of them. Harry apologising to Tom was nice and just, well, all of Harry was great. Ruth was her wonderful self.

Sam ... was a little annoying. More than I remember her being. Shame.

And I should say something about Danny and Zoe, shouldn't I? I thought the actors (Keely Hawes and David Oyelowo ) did a great job and I thought their reactions were understandable. Confused. Hurt. Danny went back and forward a bit, but that's to be expected. It wasn't exactly an easy twenty four hours.

Maybe Tom crept around a little too easily but it's a spy show, not everything is going to be dead on. Hell knows it's a lot more realistic than Alias.

Shallow: Matthew MacFadyen, guh. Smile sarcastically all the damn time, just like you did in that parking garage. Rupert Penry-Jones, the scruff really works for you. Nice. I think the Adam/Tom vibes I picked up were just my brain going, 'PRETTY!'

Also, Tom's coat was back! I don't know what it is quite about the coat he wears, it's like a suit jacket but just that little bit longer but I have more love for it than any 'reasonable person' should have for a peice of clothing worn by a fictional character, but then, a 'reasonable person' wouldn't do that at all. :p Anyway, love the coat and it was back. Happy times.

I'm looking forward to this week but not at the same time, because, yeah.

Edit: Just read the IMDB page and an unusually useful post on the IMDB boards, (which are usually really, really bad) Oliver does come back! And I just read about the next ep and the last scene ... I got a lump in my throat. Tom, you love-able fucked up bastard, you're going to make me cry, aren't you?

Also have seen the next eps of Firefly (they are playing them in the fucked up order) and Lost but there's not too much to say other than, Kaylee <3 Still enjoying both; Firefly a little more than Lost but not by too much.

I also just found a stream of radioioRock with the iTunes radio stations. The 32kbs stream hasn't the best sound but it does mean I get hardly any buffering. Mmm, love this radio station. Better than any station we get in Christchurch at the moment. Kind of makes me think of last year though, ah well. I'm expecting the vague regret to kick in soon anyway.

Really need to sleep now.
