My day could have been better (although there was Guitar Hero at the end - "Plug in Baby" is hard to play, dude), so I move on to fannish ramblings.

So, it looks like my fear re: Josh's screen-time in S3 did have some foundation as he's actually only going to be in half of the first 10 episodes, which to be honest, is a little bit more of a cut than I had anticipated, but hey, I get it. There are strong narrative reasons, and I really admire their guts with what it sounds like they're trying to do this season (make both sides sympathetic), and you can't just have this whole alternate universe and not explore it, that would be stupid. I hope they manage to pull this off, or are given the chance to ... *eyes ratings and FOX warily*
Also, articles like this interview excerpt with John Noble and this one with Josh do help. As much as I adore Olivia and Astrid (and I really do), Peter and Walter's relationship is at the heart of the show.
However, they're on a J.J show, so what do the actors actually know at this point? ;)
Definitely excited though. There may be an entry in my iCal saying "Fringe is back!"
Random aside: In regards this IGN interview with John and Josh: I understand Josh's hesitance about the Peter/Olivia thing, but at the same time, six seasons of "will they, won't they" is bad. I know I'm a 'shipper at heart but, it's bad! Bones is now incredibly frustrating to watch because they just won't resolve it!
Have to agree with him about the finale though. The more I think about how they rushed Peter's decision to return the more I'm dissatisfied with it.
I have a Peter and Tony Stark (potentially Peter/Tony Stark) fic idea rattling around my brain. Mmm. Also, a possible fanmix. No vid ideas yet, but I would say give it time. ;)

Ifound a way to watch watched the three Josh Jackson Daily Show interviews and oh god, they were actually more adorable and awesome than I had hoped. Baby!Josh (well, not really, he was 24 in two of them, but comparatively) telling Jon that he effectively got kicked out of high school because of him (true story, I never get sick of hearing it) and talking about his hockey arrest and running with the bulls, bitching about Dawson's Creek and generally being hilarious and charming. He was totally on something in the earliest one though, or really "up'" ... but it was mostly cute rather than awkward, which might be a reflection on how far I have fallen because usually I find things like that waaay awkward.
He needs to go back on the show but it's not going to happen because a) Fringe isn't big enough and tbh Josh isn't a big enough name, and b) barring Dennis Leary (who goes way back with Jon clearly) I can't remember the last time a primarily TV based actor was interviewed by Jon. Big name movie stars, yeah. People with interesting books, sure. Not TV stars. *sigh* Ah well, a girl can dream.
Also, I mentioned that this crush could only get worse if I learned he played the piano in that episode of Fringe. Apparently, he motherfucking did. I give up. Seriously.
I will not watch actual episodes of Dawson's Creek as a result of this. No. Clips, yes. Bad horror movies Josh has been in, maybe, but Dawson is far too irritating.
3. I watched the first two episodes of Sherlock ... and I liked it, mostly. The first one was good, and I loved Martin Freeman as Watson but the second one dragged badly. I was going to put off the third one, but having seen so many posts about it on my flist of a !!! variety, I might bump it up the list of watching priorities.
4. Still have Mad Men to watch. True Blood, I know what happens, and still eh. I'm sure curiosity will get the better of me, but at the moment, there are other things that I'd rather watch.Like a ridiculous amount of Josh Jackson clips on YouTube.
5. I also really want to see Batman: Under the Red Hood. The trailer looked interesting.
6. Still haven't seen Toy Story 3. Must rectify.
Haha, oh god, I meant to go to bed early.
