Mum has been up this weekend, which has been cool, but I've just had annoying thoughts swimming around my head. Work, other things, the fact that I really just need to make a fucking decision about the UK because the wavering is driving me a little insane. Can't someone just make it for me? No?
Also, really hoping the slight tooth-ache I seem to have doesn't mean I need to have the root canal the dentist threatened, because that would put any OE planning right out the window. Urg.
Happier thoughts,
I liked it, didn't love it and OMG, only two left. Insanity. How are they going to tie this up?
The previouslies made it really clear what was going to happen to Sam. Although I think some people guessed last week. Did not see Kara going to shoot him before he started talking though.
Kinda over the Adama man pain, as seen in another review, now we know where Lee gets it from. ;) (I so wrote Adama as Obama first and it took me forever to figure out what was wrong with the sentence, not that Obama has lots of man pain, but ... I don't know where I am going with this). Bill and Laura were cute. The joint! And everyone wanted a cabin, didn't they? ;) But take Laura away from Bill, and Adama just annoyed me.
See, I feel for them, but I just get bored when the Agathons are on. So bored. Sorry, Helo, I did like you for a bit, dude, and Athena, yeah, sorry.
Boomer with Hera was more interesting. Boomer is so dead, but will go out doing something big.
Where was Chief, people?
Kara's awesome continues to be unquantifiable. I was surprised she didn't punch Baltar instead of slapping him, because fuck, he deserved it. Oh, Gaius. You try to be helpful in such a douch-ey way. It did make me wonder if we're really going to get an answer to the Kara question (see her father at the end, maybe?) and whether that's a problem or not. Depending on how they do it (and killing Kara is *not* an option) I think I'd be okay with either.
Really liked the Kara/Lee scene, but do wonder if Kara was putting on a brave face, and acting happier than she is. That did rock from Lee though. (Also rocking that shirt, sir. Mmmm). They really aren't bothering to do anything with him now though, are they? He's just there if the plot needs him. Oh, Lee.
"There's too much confusion ... " you said it dying!Eight/Jimi Hendrix/Bob Dylan/RDM. (Also, Cottle rocked in that scene, as he always does).
I've also watched three George Clooney movies in the last 24-ish hours, Ocean's Elven (still awesome), Ocean's Thirteen (yeah, I skipped Twelve as it's not nearly as good) and Micheal Clayton (which I liked the first time, but enjoyed quite a bit more this time around). I was in a George mood, clearly.
Also, I think everyone who is interested has seen this, but I shall link again, Saturday Morning Watchmen. (Have been avoiding really spoiler-y reviews and hope to see it Tuesday.
*blasts Foo Fighters and goes to meet Mum for breaakfast*
