I am sure I'm way behind the curve on this rec, considering where I got the link, but I just read Freedom's Just Another Word For Nothing Left to Lose by
synecdochic and ... yeah. If you haven't read it and even have the slightest love of SGA. Go. Go now. It's beautiful, and painful and as soon as I read a bit about the dog tags I spent the rest of the fic a couple of seconds away from tears.
My god could that whole Nathan and Peter thing have been any slashier had they tried? I don't actively ship Nathan/Peter because incest is really not my thing, but ... dude.
And I kinda care about Peter again. Kinda. I could be quite in favour of Peter/Adam.
I didn't know what to think about Elle after her first appearance but after seeing a lot more of her. Oh, I approve. Kristen Bell did it very well.
D.L! That was painful to see him back for one episode and then he's gone again. *sniff* Nikki/Jessica/Gina annoys me, but I will give Ali Larter some acting props on the whole different personality thing. Also, it was an interesting explanation of the whole thing that Bob gave.
Oh, the Haitian rocks. So hard. Which side is he on? Who is his final allegiance to?
Less that wondrous Wonder Twins: Eh. Eh. Eh. I was really hoping for a better back-story than that.
Adam intrigues me. I found Kensei annoying, but I really, really want to know more about Adam, and Lindermann and all the back story ... oh, yes I do. David Anders is doing the whole mysterious British thing so well. Mmmm.
I didn't actually miss Claire or Hiro. :( (Dear show, please to be making Claire rock again. Love, me).
Although, I thought we'd get more answers on the whole Sylar in the middle of the rain-forest thing, but not so much. Hmmm.
I also spent way too much time a couple of nights ago adding movie ratings to my list on IMDB. I wish it was out of 20 and I have to tweak it a little, but I kinda got addicted to it. (Yes, the Princess Bride and Ocean's 11 are the right way round).
Edited oh so many days later to correct the episode title. *headdesk*
