The mood icon on this post has nothing to do with the episode review below. Just ... eh. I would like to request not to care about certain people things so damn much.

As many other people have said, not as OMGWTF as previous weeks but still very, very good.

This was my favourite Peter episode for a while. I haven't really been feeling the Peter!love recently (yes, even is his very hot coat last week) but his scenes with Claire and Nathan this week were awesome, especially those with Claire. I still hesitate to 'ship them, but I love their interaction, from their first scene in the house, to the scene in the campaign office, to the scene at the fountain and that cute face-touch. Really Tim Kring, it's like you want us to all become Petrellicest 'shippers or something.

Nathan worries me though. I think he'll chose the right side in the end, and actually, to be fair, it would be rather awesome if he didn't ... but I remain worried and I'm not exactly sure why. So awesome though. So awesome.

As for Claire, well, I continue to love that girl. I've talked about her scenes with Peter but there was also that almost cute moment she had with Nathan. It was interesting and I think Hayden and Adrian both nailed it. Nathan and Claire have a difficult relationship (yes, I know, really) and I think that came across well. Also, her reunion with her Dad was all sorts of wonderful.

Mama Petrelli is so bad ass and oh, I love her for it. Love her. I still really want her and Linderman to be in the same scene though. I want it so bad I can taste it.

And I believe this episode had some characters that weren't Petrellis. *cough*

I loved Mohinder's scenes with Molly. So cute. Mohinder still has me a little concerned, but I think he might be okay. Maybe. And on a shallow note, Sendhil was looking particularly hot tonight. Good Lord that man is pretty.

As for Sylar, I do kinda wish that they hadn't gone the my-crazy-mother-is-the-cause-of-this-all route (and to be fair, they didn't smack you over the head with it too hard) but I did like the show globe scene and as for the painting with his mother's blood ... creepy. Nice touch, but creepy.

The fact that Linderman had all that info on D.L and Nikki's lives intrigues me.

I don't have a lot to say about Hiro and Ando, but they continue to be the ultimate BFF.

So, all in all, goood episode. Very, very good. As I typed this out I realised just how awesome those Petrellis are good it was, but in a subtle way and setting things up for what's to come. Well played, show. Well played.

And, uh 1x22 promo here.

Lindermann! Nathan and Hiro scene! Nathan and Lindermann scene! Mr Bennet shooting Thompson! Or so it looks like! OMG! One whole week to wait!

Now to sleep ... or maybe watch those scenes a few more times. ;)

ETA: Sorry if anyone saw anything before I fixed the cut. My limited coding skill failed me temporarily.
