So, um, I should really not still be up, but I decided to stay up and watch this ep. So glad I did.
*FLAIL*
The ending ... with the shooting and the forgetting. Oh, I think the forgetting hurt the most. I am such a sucker for father and daughter scenes and that one at the end might just be one of the best I've seen on TV. Veronica and Keith Mars run Claire and Mr Bennet close, but I think the latter win. So, so much love. There were tears and much flailing. I just couldn't quite believe they did that but fuck it was awesome.
So, yeah, that last scene kind of hit me for six, but the whole ep rocked, with the flashbacks and little!Hiro (OMGsocute!) and I knew Hiro's father had to be deeper involved (that and I saw on IMDB that George Takei was in more than one ep) and then there was Claude as well, which was awesome and it's all making more sense and getting more complicated in such an awesome way.
The Haitian continues to completely rock as well and you have to feel for Lyle, I mean .... yeah. So much WTF for him.
Officer!Matt ... not boring at all. Go him. Though it might have been his closer presence to the awesomeness that is Claire and her father. I found him less annoying when he was around Clea Duvall as well.
Also, Eric Roberts ... not annoying at all, how about that?
The special effect when Claire walked out of the house was awesome and creepy all at the same time. Kinda like the autopsy scene earlier on in the season.
So, in conclusion ... *flail*
I love this show.
I used 'awesome' far too much in that review, but it was and it's late and wow am I going to need coffee tomorrow.
