Yuletide letter

owlbeerI meant to do this earlier but I didn't really feel up to it yesterday and then LJ was down, so anyway ...
I realise I didn't actually leave any details for my pairings, so sorry about that. To be honest, all of the pairings I asked for are OTPs for me, and pairings I'd love to see more fic for, so I'll be happy with anything. Really. However, if you do want something more specific to guide you.
I like UST and both angst and fluff, but nothing that goes too over the top at either end. I just like to believe that what I'm reading is the characters (or people) involved. So, if you want to continue form a canon jumping off point or set it in the middle of the book/tour/studio session, feel free.
I'm not really into any sort of rape or consent-issues fic, and while I appreciate a good PWP every now and again, I'm much more into good characterization and plausible story-lines. So, in no way does it have to be porn-y. Something nice and atmospheric is all good.
I'm all for experimental structures and the like. So if you want to jump around and play around with things, go right ahead.
Anyway, I'm not quite sure what else to say. I realise that's all a little vague but I don't know how specific I should really get. Just, thank you!

As for my own assignment. Well, it could be interesting. I'm quite excited about it though.
Random geeky link: US Presidential Speech Tag Clouds: This guy has run speeches dating back to Washington through a program that's picked out the most used words and put them in tag clouds for each speech. No guessing which word most came up in George W's speeches. Very cool.
