owlbeerI'm tired and really rather rambly but I wanted to comment.
Alison Janney and Richard Schiff? My love cannot be quantified. Seriosuly. The pre-credits sequence even had me all wibbly. They said so much without saying anything at all with the looks and even just the way Allison Janney looked out her window. And then you had CJ going to talk to Will and she held it together, but only just and you could see how close to the edge she was. Just, awesome. Oh, Toby. Oh, CJ.
Oliver Platt and Martin Sheen were also awesome, but Allison Janney and Richard Schiff owned that ep.
I liked the moment where Oliver said that 'someone should thank you for your service' to Toby, because someone should, but yeah, that wasn't going to happen then.
I did expect Jed to be a little angrier to be honest. I mean, he was angry, but in a quiet and controlled way, which I suppose is actually a little scarier than when he's yelling really.
The election? The situation in Kazahstan? Didn't really care, although I loved CJ's snark at Hutchinson.
Also, Jed and Abby were pretty cute at the start. I keep forgetting how cute they can be.
