owlbeerI meant to do so much more today. Hell, I meant to do so much more this week. I've sorted through my CD and comic collections getting rid of the stuff I really don't want in preparation for moving. I have the magazines and books to go but really, they're not the problem. It's everything else in my room that I don't enjoy sorting through that's going to be the problem. Sorting through Uni notes can be enjoyable but are a little tinged by other thoughts. I was reading a random piece of paper I printed off last year and really, really missed studying for a while there. *wistful sigh* I've made my decision, really.

I've been on a total VMars kick for the last couple of days. Fic, vids, clips, you name it. So good.
Disclaimer: I have only read Couch Baron’s (and Jacob’s) re-caps over at TwoP and seen a few clips hosted by jason-dohring.com, so all these impressions are from those only.
Logan was actually at the door. And Veronica did actually tend to his wounds. Here was me thinking that that was just fanfic fantasy … although the people coming to arrest Logan wasn’t in many of the fics I read. ;) Also, it really wasn't Logan she was expecting, was it? I really got the impression that she was hoping it would be Duncan.
Logan by the bus in 2.01? Creepy. 'I'm going to miss you.' Just his tone. You almost do get the impression that he knew about it. I hope not, but still. He's had his fair share of creepy moments actually.
Logan: Oh, honey. Your life can suck more. Now you’re accused of murder. Your snark remains triumphant though. He should have many more scenes with Cliff. There really needs to be more Cliff.
Also, would you please, please put the gun down? I'm flashing back to CSI S5 where Ecklie tells Grissom that Sara is a, 'loose cannon, with a gun, and she's all yours.' I wasn't that worried about Sara, but Logan, just put it down. You really are going to hurt yourself, or more likely, someone else. *isn't thinking about the end of The OC S2, really*
Logan and Weevil fight crime! Dude. Their interaction this season sounds fantastic. I’ll burn your house down, then I’ll buy your grandmother’s house and threaten to evict her, then I’ll abduct you and threaten to shoot you numerous times, then I’ll abduct you and tie you to the flagpole. Hehe. And now they’re working together, kinda. Sorta. Sounds … violent actually.
Something still does bug me about the tapes in 2.10 though. why not just give them back? But I suppose they could just go missing all over again and who knows if they were copied? Also, if they're burnt they're gone for good. It really does hurt the prosecution’s case. Oh well, no one ever accused Logan of thinking rationally.
Meg being pregnant … yeah. Not sure I really wanted them to go there, but hey, here we are. Poor Meg. Veronica’s line in the last ep was a classic, ‘No, your secret illegitimate love-child in the body of your comatose ex-girlfriend, has nothing to do with either you or I.’ Ah, sarcasm. I love you. Sometimes, you get the feeling this show should be a soap. ;)
Duncan/Veronica: Really not a fan to put it mildly but oh well, you could see it coming.
It did surprise me a little that Logan and Veronica actually tried to make it work after Aaron’s arrest but the fact that it didn’t work out was always coming. Logan can be way too much and he went through a rather eventful summer. Logan and Veronica are quite fun when they’re all, ‘longing glances and no, I really don’t want you,’ but I still want to see them back together … eventually. I can see it taking a while and to be honest, I wouldn’t mind seeing Veronica on her own for a while.
Veronica: I can understand how she wants everything back to normal, but the world doesn't really work like that. Her line about 'coming home to her nice honset boyfriend' at the end of 2.05 made me laugh given later events in the season. Also, it turned out to be Logan. ;) But, honest? Eh.
Duncan: I really tried to care, dude and for a while, I did. Not so much anymore.
Beaver sounds cool and after their two interactions, Beaver/Mac, oh yes. <3
It seems to me (please see disclaimer) that they’ve tried a little too much this season. As much as I’m loving the Logan and Weevil interaction, the whole Felix sub-plot seems a little too much when you add it to the bus and Meg’s pregnancy and yeah … although saying that, upon just reading about last season I may have thought the date-rape plot was too much, however that did nicely tie into the whole ‘Veronica was completely ostracised for a year’ plot. Felix may tie in far more than I think but at the moment it seems a little much.
I'm crossing my fingers that the writers really know what they're doing.

summerfling's LJ about Stacy hate and the fandom's rather contradictory attitudes towards adultery. (Spoilers for 2.10 'Failure to Communicate').
I still really don't get the Stacy hate. The only real criticism I have with the whole House/Stacy deal is the fact that the storyline has gone on just a little too long now. Nothing's going to happen, Stacy's not going to go live with House and it just needs to end, which I think is acutally going to happen next week. I did prefer her a little more in 'The Honeymoon' but I certainly don't dislike what I've seen this season. (Disclaimer: I haven't seen 'Failure to Communciate' yet). I was skeptical of the Sela Ward casting but I think it's worked. She and Hugh Laurie work really well together.
As for Wilson, I think the point that someone made about us loving Wilson so much because he the only person (Stacy somewhat excluded) that really loves House is quite valid. Also, RSL makes him just that much more wonderful. He really is very fucked up though, but then nearly every character on this show is.

People write Pureblood!Hermione stories? Okay. That seems strange to me. I must just be out of the loop on this one. However, HP fandom being the mind-bogglingly large thing that it is, that's not actually that hard.
I think I like my little MWPP-centric corner of fandom.
