Last CC Shift.
Dec. 19th, 2005 12:53 amToday was my last shift. (I have one more shift for the company but that's at a different venue on the 3rd). It wasn't too bad. It was just my supervisor (who was lovely and spoiled me) and me and was just nice and low-key. I got a bit choked up near the end, but I'm okay. Tomorrow I'm going in to hand over my locker key and name badge and that could be a little harder. Part of me still can't believe I'm actually leaving but I know it's the right thing to do.
I came home and sat down to udon, beer and Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind and that was nice. Very nice. I love that movie a little more every time I see it.

David Cameron's election as the new leader of the UK Conservative Party has had me very intrigued. The direction he seems to be taking the party in is very interesting. I'm not saying that I would vote for him if did I live in the UK, but it's been very interesting to watch for a politics geek like myself.
