George! Izzie! Love!
Yeah, that about sums up this episode for me. *ahem*
Not that I don't like the other characters, because I do, but George and Izzie are my favourites. Christina running a fairly close second.
I actually said to my TV screen at one point (when George took Mac's hand at the end) 'George, I love you so, so much' and I literally bounced in my seat. This is sad but also true.
George/Meredith in canon? *sighs* If he had to like one of them (which of course, tv being tv, he did), couldn't it have been Izzie? However, Meredith is the main character in the show, so really, should I be surprised?

All in all, I like it, quite a bit.
Just the glee on their faces as they discover things. It's beautiful. John and Rodney's huge grins as they pushed Rodney off the balcony were just wonderful and then Rodney and Czech Guy (whose name I have ironicaly forgotten) discovering the outdoor hatch on the Jumper bay. They're all so cute when they discover things!
Ford is wonderful. Just, wonderful. He's probably my favourite character from what I've seen so far.
Rodney is ... interesting. I appreciate his snark but he is just a little bit annoying sometimes.
Sheppard is, of course, wonderful, but then his sense of humour is a lot like Jack's, so he was always going to be. Also, he's pretty.
Weir is also interesting. I don't dislike her and I loved her when she smacked down Kavanaugh (sp?) in 'Thirty-Eight Minutes' but there are other moments when I just feel nothing towards her. However, was it just me feeling vague Weir/Teyla vibes in 'Suspicion'? Might have just been me.
As for Teyla, I have mostly apathy towards her too.
