owlbeerI realise and this point it's nearly spam, but I needed to complete my thoughts on the fannish weekend to end all fannish weekends.
This afternoon I sat down to watch:
The use of Tainted Love' and 'Toxic' were just brilliant.
I teared up with the phone-call. I don't know what it was. Whether it was the gesture or something else, I just had tears running down my cheeks.
The Doctor is just adorable. Go Christopher Eccelstone.
Doctor/Rose, hell yes.
It's a show on crack and it's so entertaining because of it. It makes you grin but it also has emotioal resonance. It's very well done.
Wow. Could her situation be anymore screwed up and complicated? Saying that, I do love screwed up and complicated.
I liked it. I thought it was well-written and way Veronica played off all those different groups was brillaint. The acting was pretty good and the plot certainly was intriguing.
It's not love at first sight, but I will definitely keep watching.
