Best. D&D. Night. Ever.

It's been an interesting day, on many levels.

I've had an interesting conversation over text message about my attitude towards affection. Yeah.

I've also found out that some of my RL friends have stumbled onto LJ. Not my LJ or anything but they have set their own ones up. My friend sent me an e-mail telling me about it. I don't quite know what to do with that information. Most of me in saying 'just, leave it' but I've never been to good at keeping my mouth shut and I in no way want to run two journals; one for fandom, and one for my RL friends to view. So, we'll see. I can probably just get away with doing nothing and commenting anonymously occasionally. I don't know if I want to do that, or not. Is it time they saw this, or not? Hmm.

I also stumbled onto (via the LJ of circe_tigana) and really enjoyed a Harry/Draco WiP fic by blythely which has Draco as a member of the House of Lords and Harry as a Lib Dem MP. Don't look at me like that, strangely it works and it's hilarious. I haven't read H/D in years. I actually think I might have missed it. Maybe.

Finally, tonight was the Best. D&D. Night. Ever. We got two characters killed off, and it was a very tight thing for my character there for a while, but it was so tense and we didn't know if any of us were going to get out at all. I even ended up playing my character a little differently than I thought I might in the circumstances. It kicked ass and was really one of the best nights I've had in a while, we were all quite hyped up on sugar, which helped. Also, you should have seen our DM afterwards explaining what we were up against, he was so geekily proud of himself. It was cute.

Anyway, need to sleep. I have to buy an engagement present tomorrow and get up the guts to ask supervisors for permission for references. Really got to do that. No putting it off this time.

DC is wooing me with its fucked up goodness. I've now developed an interest in the Titans. *headdesk* Damn you Dick Grayson and your pretty fucked up self.
